Conceptually bright and ahead of their time, Förjak is a compelling melding of extremes, both in personality as well as musical direction. Spanning the globe, the members unite from varying national origins, each contributing from their own unique roots, to create a masterfully formed hybrid of collective inspiration.
The members include: Taku Saito, Guitar (Japan); Jisun Choi, Piano (Korea); Cooper Appelt, Double Bass (Texas); Tony Spiro, Drums (California). Since their materialization in January of 2006, Förjak has completed their debut album Look Between Us; which places emphasis on the band's singular focus: to create a new genre of music. This new genre is a musical revelation that combines many artistic sub-genres, including music, film, and drama on stage. Mixed media gets boiled down into one pure directional work of art, and the notes are so carefully formulated that there is no distinction between the artistic partners. The music exists in equal cohabitation with the forum for which it was created. Förjak's music takes on a seamless shape, thriving with exponentially expanding energy in direct response to the stunning compositions by guitarist Taku Saito.
